I was just wondering which of these factors affects the apparent weight (the weight you feel) of a racket?

I ask because recently I played with my friend's AT900P which us 4U but head heavy. When I compared it to my ARC10 which is 3U and through playing and feeling both of them, I felt that my ARC10 actually felt LIGHTER.

balance point will affect your swing weight tremendously more than static weight.

the arc10 feels lighter because it is more head light.

Ah I see, that would make sense. But I remember reading a thread someone had wrote about inaccurate listings of balance points across different retail websites, and someone wrote on that thread that something was more important than that...I would like to search that up but can't right now as ok on my iPod

Yes I rerember this thread , I will go search for it.

The basics of the thread , was that it was the swing weight which is the most important aspect of the racket.

I will have a look and hopefully post the link.
