22 is quite old for aiming to become a top player in the future

at this age you already have to enter some quarter-/semi-/ finals i think..

I really hate BAM...
The way BAM try to blame everything on the players...
I think BAM is the one who is the underachiever...
With all government funds & etc, BAM still fail to produce another LCW...
I dont think u can blame the players... if BAM really did they job well, BAM can replace anyone who is not commited... instead BAM bashing players in PUBLIC NEWSPAPER!
That's a disgrace...Last edited by SibugiChai; 09-07-2009 at 07:26 PM. Reason: BAM

Dato Asbullah;1248463]Dont worry. He will be given chances and chances to prove himself. This is the normal practise for BAM.[/quote]
Could the 'normal practice' give way to 'talk-tough-act-tough' approach with Hendrawan kicking out TCS and KBH, and Misbun lashing out now...so Rexy your move next? Pro baddy is a tough business, dog-eat-dog when you are facing off against mighty CHN and INA.

I think at 22 Kwong Beng is a little too late to make it in the game. Sometimes having talent n skills is not enough. You need some luck and most important of all discipline/focus to succeed.

LCW didn't start to make his rise to the top at a young age....only heard of him around 2004....when he was 22 as well!

LCW won Msia Open (now is SS title) in 2004, when he was 22. Before that, a bit quiet in International scene.
But the current back-up players are mostly 23 & 22 this year, nothing impressive at all. Only Arif =20 is in elit back up, Kuan KC, Lim FY are Arif's batch I think.
Once Iskandar, Syawal, Misbun Ramdan & gang graduate from junior level end of 2009, they may overtake the current back-up. In this process, CKB is in danger of being booted out, that's why I think Misbun 'kan cheong'.Last edited by eaglehelang; 09-10-2009 at 09:55 AM.

China junior do get a lot of exposure overseas... if u see most of this names in 3-4stars tournament, I havnt heard b4...
China make a major mistake during Yang2, Xiong gubo & Zhao JianHua era, when they didnt expose their Junior asap...
I heard that msia backup player get less than 6tourny last year???
