I am not from Philippines but one of my best friends here is. There are a group of filipino players play in NY regularly. They are not the best players on courts but at least they do play regularly. The club they go to is NYCB's Queens location. You can check out the club information from their website, they open 7 days a week in several locations in the city and also in Queens: nycbadminton.com. My filipino friend (she is a great player) and I go to NYCB's Queens John Bowne location every Sunday. You are welcome to join us! My name is Wendy and you just look for th girl with winnie the pooh on her shoes. Happy Badminton!

Hi Janine. I'm a Filipino too from Brooklyn. I'm an assistant organizer of a badminton meetup group of mostly beginner and intermediate players. Anyway, I'm also looking for Pinoys to play with. I met a couple of Filipinos through our meetup group but they rarely go. Our meetup group plays in Manhattan. I'm 21, and can speak Tagalog in case you're wondering. I'm also looking for cheap places to play in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Do you know any? It's just that I live in Bay Ridge, and Queens and Bronx are far away from me. I would like to play as much as I can while I'm on a break from school.
