I think Tien Minh Nguyen should be one of the smallest at 5'2" - 5'7" depending on which website we look at. I saw him in person before. I think he is in between like 5'4" or 5'5".

Top ranked MS, I think it would LCW. He's not a very big guy, but his game play is huge.

Not many tall players are really successful.
    LD is only like 178cm

Howard Bach doesn't play singles on the circuit unless I missed something:)

Sun Jun is taller than that - probably about 174cm.

    12. Which player you admire at the start, both at the local and the international scene?

I think it would be Sun Jun. When I started picking up this sport, he was then the world champion. I really admire the way he play his game as he has quick reflexes and lightning speed on court though he is just small in size.

(Refer on badminton-information on LCW interview)

Ouh yeah!I really need to discover more old player ...

I was at WC05 in Anaheim and watched ZJ chow down a huge hamburger with double patty and cheese...that may be one reason he is so darn huge:p:D

    Hmm...

..it's hard to define what is the "smallest". Is it above 5 ft but shorter than 5'6"? Or shorter than 5' ft?..One name which came to mind is the JPN MS player, Sho Sasaki..
For WS, I think the Japanese WS player, Ai Goto, has gotta be one of, if not the shortest and smallest pro players in the current international circuit. Check out her 2009 WC videos..
No, Howie doesn't play Singles in international circuit. However, he does play Singles in National/local tourneys.
..NTM should be much taller than 5 ft (152 cm)..
..when i saw that pic, i thought they should've lowered the net height. I mean, how is he going to do all of those flat, drive shots or even smashes?? All he would be doing are net drops, lifts and clears.:confused:
..and that was when you saw him eat. Who knows how many more Big Macs or Whoppers or Carl's Jr Six Dollars Burgers he chowed down when you didn't see him??..;)

That is quite true...but it was true that I saw him chow that slab of meat down at Anaheim. If I eat a burger before I go play baddy or go for my 2-3km run, I can tell you I would be sucking air, it simply sap my stamina.
