string tensions

    Why is it that oval rackets are strung unevenly(main & cross) while the iso is more even? What are the advantages of doing this? If I had an oval racket, is it better to string it unevenly? or not? and why?

    For 1 piece string (2 knots, most oval racket use this), main and cross are more even.

    For 2 piece string (4 knots, iso racket use this) main and cross are hardly even.
