At least for 2009 - 2010 it is Mission impossible. The only place if you want to get LN N-series at ard SGD200 is China, and ONLY during SALES.

not sure. Normally China sales can be any time and more event oriented, not like mlaysia's mega sales or "The Singapore Sales" . If u got contact in Beijing,u can still be in time. Sept LN N series are at 40% discount. I got my N55 (originally RMB 1780) at 1000++ RMB after the discount. Promotion ends 30th Sept

LN has quite a few range of badminton rackets. If it is N-series you are talking about (the ones used by the Chinese National Team) you can check out this thread which i post before:

Generally the price doesn't vary much from the Chinese pricing. So far Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore u can get them. India i am not sure, so far no news yet.

I think u can follow up from here and i feel Some badminton equipment shop in major Indian Cities will soon have Li Ning rackets i think. At what price that i am not sure.

Folks,

Some interesting recent news that is published. Seems that Li Ning is making in roads into pro players of India, and national team of Singapore.
Who will be next ? Malaysia's KLRC players perhaps? (Their strategy seems to be cannot get national team, get their private pro team first. Then setup shops, academy, sponsor some local tourney to fianlly get the national team deal. This is their direction now it seems.)

It will be interesting to see when 2011 and 2012 some Yonex sponsorship contract ends for most Asian countries (Malaysia, Indon, etc.)

Actually I am curious about Li-Ning racquets like the N-series.

But how do you tell the difference between the real deal from the counterfeits? Is there some security features to look for?

After spending a whopping RMB1980 for a LN N90 Racket, the last thing you want to know is that ur N90 is yet another marvelous Make in China "Clone" aka pirate aka FAKE. So how to check the LN rackets fif they are the real deal or fake?
Before we proceed, at least till today, LN still does not have any clones for now, even inside China, but YONEX my God, not only clones but PERFECT clones are everywhere.

So, to double check for LN rackets, for now the method is still pretty easy and personally i doubt it is 100% fool proof. Anyway, here you go:

1) When you purchase their LN rackets (any series/range), dont get too excited and throw away all packaging !!! The most important check for fake product code is at the back of this racket head cover, as shown in the photo for N55 as example:



2) Peel off the "sticker" to reveal the code.

3) Log onto http://www.li-ning.com/fwcx/ and key in your product code. (Only problem here is all this are available only in Chinese, as of now. So folks who dont understd Chinese, you may post your PRoduct code here and i promise to check each of them whenever i log in and saw one.




Side note:
Since YONEX clones are so serious these days, Yonex china has also posted this: (Some of you may have already know, so bear with me)

you can log onto http://www.yonex.com.cn/ to identify if your Yonex (CN version) is real or fake. Just follow their instruction (example shown below. Racket and shoes)
