    I am playing quite a bit more mixed doubles lately and I am still learning a lot about it! What would be the best way to disorient the opponents' organization. How do I lure the man to the front and force the lady to play the back?? I get this done to me a lot but I can't seem to use the same strategy on opponents. I can't seem to be able to force the oppostion lady out of postion long enough to keep a prolonged attack with their man at the net. Also, when I'm serving, it is advisable to be standing 2 or 3 feet behind my partner so that I can return to the back court immediately after service?
    Please also state any other suggestions for enhancing my XD play.
    Thanks.

    One way to lure the stronger smasher to the front (can be MD, XD, or WD).

    When the opponent serves from one side, push the shuttle low to the his/her partner side. The shuttle must be low and to the sides and slightly behind mid court. The person behind has to come forward and take the shuttle. As the shuttle is below net level, the opponent will be crazy to try and put a shot near the net or drive it as the shot will be rising, not dipping. Then punch the shuttle cross court to the other side. His partner will have to take it.

    Of course it's easier said than done and alot of other factors have to be taken into consideration. Eg, opponent is a left hander, etc.

    Look at the photo for more details. Not very well drawn! :D

    Purple = Opponent
    Dark Green = Yourselves.

    Red = 1st shot played.
    Green = 2nd shot played.
    Blue = 3rd shot played.
    Brown = fourth shot played.
