    the cone number seems to show it's fake :S i dont think there's any new old 700s in 2009s maybe pictures will help.

    AFAIK, the most sure-fire way to tell if a Yonex racquet is genuine or not is to remove the original leather grip and look for:

    1. Phillip head screw near the end of the cone shaped wooden handle as it meets the octagonal part.

    2. Sticker printing the specs of the racquet (for e.g. 3U 4 for 3UG4) a bar code. The earlier models are large and white in colour with black wording while the newer models are thinner and grey/black with white wording.
