There's a Thai badminton club that play in Kensington on sunday evenings if you're interested. 6pm to 9pm i believe. it's quite a long way to travel from greenwich, but worth it if you like playing with your fellow countrymen.

well, you can try our club near whitechapel.

    Mulberry School for Girls,
    Richard Street,
    Off Commercial Road,
    London E1 2JP

probably easiest for you is to take the dlr from greenwich / cutty sark to shadwell and it's about 5-10 min walk from there to the school.
we play on saturdays from 1 to 4pm.

    Hi all!
I am new to this forum so if I have posted this in the wrong place please do let me know ;)
I live in the Kennington area and am wondering if there is any badminton club nearby? If you live around the area and would like to find a partner to play, please let me know too ^.^ I am sort of an intermediate player, not very good, but I'd like to think I am not too bad either :p

    Thanks guys(and girls)!
    Alex

    Hi,

I just arrived in London for 2 weeks and am currently living in Mudchute.
I would love to play badminton and meet new friends.
Just wondering if there are any badminton clubs near Mudchute, Island of gardens & Canary Wharf?

    Thank you

    Jenny

    Hi Dreamzz

Do you guys only play out at Whitechapel? If so, do you still accept new members & what are the rates? A bunch of us (majority of us are malaysians) want to play badminton too, but can't find reasonably close place and price/rates to play. And jubilee line is down almost every weekend. :(

yeah, my club only play at whitechapel. if you're interested i can give you the contact of the organiser and you can discuss the details. there's no membership to pay, if you want to come along, just pop by and pay the daily rate. £6 for guys and £4 for the ladies. there are a number of malaysians here as well.

i do know people who play in bacons college on tuesday and wednesday nights. that's in canada water.

    Thanks Dreamzz!

Do you mind to pass me the contact info then pls?

And if it's possible for us to contact your friends at Canada water then? we've got 3 guys and 3 girls...so need a better mix if possible. We heard Tues and Wed over there can get really crowded. Most clubs are personal clubs too, so we can't just barge in and join them which is understandable.

    Thanks again
