What is your experience with them? And does it really help with the healing process of injured muscles or tendons? Or is it only good for pain relieve?

I have Golfer's Elbow for 6+ months now and have recently stopped playing badminton to allow it to heal fully before I start playing again. The healing process is going pretty slow so I'm thinking about buying one of these units if it will help speed up the healing process. If it does, it will also be a good investment for future injuries (knock on wood x3).
