You and your partner are on the defensive, (side-side) lifting to the opponent. Your opponent (in the back) plays a forehand dropshot to the middle.

    Which partner should get it?

Usually is the opposing on-line defense player. The partner of the Dropshot player usually covers his partner and the dropshot. This gives a scheme of an off-balance response. The opposing defense player has the clear view of the strategy thus could hit back with best play.

Right on, makapili. This is the very reason why Thomas Laybourn jumps so high when making a dropshot or smash at the middle and across. He is so super not to hit his taller, long legged partner.:D
