Not quite an impressive list, though

For the next editions (if there's any), maybe BWF should consider to re-schedule, change some rules, increase the $$$ prizes, provide some WR pts, and change this event into bwf-sanctioned event
So that every players/baddy association must think twice before easily skipped this event

because PBSI priority is the sea games. and not the ss final.

Indonesia certainly has the biggest chance winning the SEA games, the only strong opponent is Malaysia. Should be better give SS Final more priority which has more countries competing rather easy win (of course after defeating Malaysia).

But Indonesia also depend on badminton to win gold medals. And sorry to said that maybe in men team event, Indonesia and Malaysia are the strongest ones, but not very clear in women event.

I'm backing Thailand to upset the applecart in the Women's Team event. They have 3 good WS players and 1 good WD pair. Singapore could also be a spoiler. MAS will be very lucky to win it. INA starts as the favourites

Without PHY , the WS is at the very worst . Its more like a GOld event than a year end event.

Lu Lan and Saina are the most fav to win this category. Though Yao Jie can be a dark horse here.
