is there a direct flight to kuala terengganu from the US? or do we need to have a connecting flight thru kuala lumpur? how long is the drive from kuala lumpur to terengganu? is there bus/train? which would you recommend? i think in malaysia, people drive on the left side of the road .... is this true? i've only driven on the left side when i was in london and birmingham for some sightseeing and all england open.

Malaysia will host the 2009 BWF World Super Series Masters Finals
.
koo_fan...... One thing for sure; the host city for this 2009 Super Series Masters Finals has not been finalised.
Don't see how to believe the news media telling us about which city will be hosting it. The anouncement from BWF was:
"The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is pleased to announce that Malaysia will once again host the BWF World Super Series Masters Finals from 2nd to 6th December 2009".
Link: http://internationalbadminton.org/ne....aspx?id=27630
Only mention was the host country, not the host city.

I do not think there is a direct flight from USA to Kuala Terengganu because KT is a small town. KL to KT may take you 5 to 6 hours by road.
Yes, Malaysian drive on the left side of the road because the cars are right hand drive, same as the British. But if the SS finals are held in JB, then you can fly directly to Singapore and hop into JB.

yessss, that's the best place to watch badminton

but I remember TBH saying to the ESPN Sportcenter Malaysia people a few days before Msia Open 2009 that he didn't like playing in Stadium Putra coz it's so huge
I remember him saying like "tak taulah, stadium tu terlalu besar, angin datang dari mana2"

^^JB is within driving distance..^^
..JB and S'pore is right next to each other. You can take a bus or taxi (RM35 once inside JB).
More infos here:

For JB not being a safe place, you can ask our jasonmarc to accompany you. If need be, you can call him to meet you at the border crossing and go with you. Heck, he can even be your personal bodyguard mah...
