Yes, 3U is more powerful, but I recommend that you try both versions out if possible before buying it. If you can't try out rackets then just get the 3U

I have weighed a 4U and 3U on the same scale. Both had original grip and both were strung (sorry, "not dry weight").
The 4U was 88g, the 3U was 90g. Not much different, but it might be a different story with two other rackets.

So the 4U was a 3U ? Interesting. I think my 3U version is around the 90g mark...

After 3 hours of play here's what I feel.

The Good.
-Racket frame integrity is SUPERIOR to a lot of rackets reason being that it does not vibrate at all. The frame does not feel like it twist when I mishit which is a plus.
-Even during stringing the frame is robust and held up quite good. I think the thick frame is to thank for this attribute.
-It is not as stiff as most players claim. It feels between ns9000s/x maybe due to the head heaviness.
-Power was there but not as comparable to AT700 or MP100 but definitely high up.
-3U feels a bit heavy, although I do not have a scale to weigh it, it feels similar to my 2UNS9000s, 2UCAB23, and 3U Apacs Lethal 70 but general net play was not compromised too much.
-Love the slim shaft

The Bad.
-I like thicker strings, while I was stringing the SW35 i find 0.70mm strings a bit hard to go through the shared grommets as they are smaller than most Yonex rackets.
-General head size is a kinda small. (similar to ArcZ)

Overall I'm very satisfied with this racket and most likely sell off some other rackets (ti10/lethal70/pandatrinity/other collections) to raise funds for another one. I think this is a great racket to replace my current racket, MP100, but time will tell. I would suggest players who want play a fast pace game to consider the 4U over the 3U. cheers

String : Victor VS850 @ 27lbs
Place of purchase : Mine Sport Store at Balakong, Selangor.
Damage : RM380.00

1st test session will be on this saturday.

i thougt sw35 n sw36 was released on the same year..huhu my bad.. 36 more flexible.. n less get attention when hanging in the shop.. every one was looking for the sw35 for it solid feel when hitting the birdie ..
