I bought a pair of 3u sw35 from another forumer in December 2012, and now I've started really using it. I was using a 3u BS10 before and when I tried the SW35, it felt similar in terms of speed. But now that I've spent more time with it, I'm noticing a substantial difference. Defense is definitely slower as are drives, and overhead shoots (clears and smashes) seem a bit harder, since I like using a faster stroke, so it's definitely harder with a racket that's head heavy with a thick frame.
It's not a terrible racket, but not really for me. I'll still hold onto it, it's good to train with :P Using it, then switching back to my BS10, my smashes go KABOOOM :P I think I'm gonna have to stick the BS series. I originally wanted to try out the MXJJS (and I've already tried the MX80), but I'm gonna have to try the BSLYD next, and maybe gen2 version as well

hahah, they could play with wooden rackets and get decent results :P
but how's the flex on the bs12? I like the stiffness of the bs10

from the time i have with mine. sw35 is highly repulsive, extremely stiff, very frame compare to bs10.
but it is a shoulder 'murderer'. beware!

From what many of you guys said, the sw35 is quite head heavy, close to the AT 900t. But I went to Victor's web site and they describe the racquet as balanced. Could one of you explain that?

Of course the flex is softer compared to bs10. It's like medium stiff, not too stiff, not too flexible.
When using the bs12, the power is very easily generated. However it doesn't mean that it's not as powerful, because it is. You can smash all day without getting tired and get pretty much the same power as the bs10 because you won't get tired thus your timing and strength will be better harnessed.
I think this is why many people like it. Including me (and half of the Victor sponsored players out there)
Defence is amazing too, very easy to lift back court and drives are great as it has a small amount of whippyness, but not flexible enough to disperse shots in different directions.
From my experience, it takes a little time to get used to, but when you do, you'll fall in love with it.
Hope that helped

We 'were' talking about the bs12 haha. I know it's the SW35 page but he asked how the bs12 compared to the bs10. Think that might have confused you a little

But yeh back to the SW35, yes, the defence is only average. But amazing racket once you get the hang of it. Still, I prefer the bs12 over it as its so easy to use but still got awesome power, defence and control. Such a great doubles racket. And is even quite good for singles.

It seems INA Player start using their new equipment from sponsor. Riyanto Subagja seems using SW35 strung at 31 / 33.

i have the same prob with u. Bought sw35 last year and i still can't adept to the racket. it's frustrating since i gave away my arc8dx to my lil bro. now, i'm only using volt80 as my main racket. i'd have to look for another spare racket.
do u guys know what weight the pros are using? 3u or 4u? their forearms must be monstrously strong.

This racquet 3U is the bomb man!
To me, it plays much better than my vtzf as well. The solid feeling just feel so good and every shots can be played with full confidence.
Too bad it is out of production. I just got one and I love it so much. Hope it does not ever break in my hands.

I use BG80P on all my racquets. Never like bg66 and bg66ultimax. Breaks too fast. Lol
