Guys, need the recommendations from your expertise in racket.

Since I know MP 33 is an old model and perharps it is discontinued, therefore :

1)which other Yonex racket is similar to MP 33 in terms of Performance & Feel?

2)If I were to upgrade from MP 33 to another higher level of racket which Yonex racket is recommended?

The specs for MP 33: Even Balance + Stiff shaft

As I was told that MP 33 was for Intermediate to Advance player type.

Your recommendations will be highly appreciated :D

    liam,

i just wanted to concur that mp 33 is a great racket indeed!

unfortunately the victor grip i previously installed on the mp 33 has deteriorated and today i replaced it with a black knight grip. the new BK grip feels totally different, and it turned out to be a lot thicker... it's ruining my mp 33

I know it is a great racket  and that's why I was so eager to find a replacement because it is an old model and probably discontinued :crying:

Any feedback from others ? :D

good to hear that the mp33 is still being praised.
This racket is only a few head light rackets that i enjoy playing with.
Yonex made and sold mp33 as a low-middle product, therefore, they didnt have high end material in it. durability is fine for low-mid level players but not for advance mid level player (ie wanting 27-30 lbs tension). However, the racket has the flex and balance of a mid to high mid level performance. I haven't demo'ed much on low-mid rackets lately. I think ns8000 would be one racket come close to the mp33 but ns8000 is tiny tad stiffer than mp33
