Aargh -- while working I was following the match between Laugesen/Søgaard and Hian/Limpele. The standing had been 13-13 for ever... and then my computer crashed (never work while following a game! ;) ) and when I got back to the scores the match had finished...

How did it end? It must have been a fantastic match, it went on for over 80 minutes... 10-15, 15-9, ??-??

Yes I know the URL, but the results aren't posted until quite some time after the match has ended. But they're up now, thanks Johnny. Did you by any chance see the match? I don't know if anything is broadcasted yet... I know Danish TV2 Zulu is broadcasting the quarters tomorrow, and on Saturday and Sunday TV2 is broadcasting the semis and finals. Hopefully I'll get those recorded...

(Btw, Johnny, what is TV2 Zulu? It seems my relatives in Soutnern Sweden can't tune in to it... is it a digital channel perhaps?)

    1st round MD

I'm posting some more results, for archival purposes, and if anybody wants to comment:

    Jens ERIKSEN/Martin LUNDGAARD DEN bt Henrik ANDERSSON/Fredrik BERGSTRÖM SWE 10/15 15/7 15/6

    Yulianto ALVEN/Hendra A. GUNAWAN INA bt Peter HASBAK/ William MILROY DEN/CAN 15/5 15/12

Mathias BOE/Michael LAMP DEN bt Peter JEFFREY/Julian ROBERTSON ENG 15/10 15/7

    Manuel DUBRULLE/Mihail POPOV FRA bt Jochen CASSEL/Joachim TESCHE GER 16/17 15/12 15/9

    Eng HIAN/Flandy LIMPELE ENG bt Jim LAUGESEN/Michael SØGAARD DEN 15/10 8/15 15/13

FU Haifeng/ZHU Lihua CHN bt Robert BLAIR/Ian PALATHORPE ENG 15/9 15/6

Chong Ming CHAN/Choon Eng CHEW MAS bt Mathew HUGHES/Martin LEWIS WAL 15/3 15/7

Yong Hyun KIM/Bang Eon YIM KOR bt Jonas GLYAGER/Simon MOLLYHUS DEN --/--

No real surprises here, other than that Eriksen/Lundgaard lost the 1st game to my compatriots Andersson/Bergström. Søgaard/Laugesen had 12-8 against Hian/Limpele in the 3rd game... but they obviously weren't able to keep it up.

The results of the 1st round of the bottom half of the draw hasn't been posted yet.

    Hi Mag

There haven't been any TV coverage of RDO yet, except for some postmatch interviews and a few short glimpses from Gades matches... :(

TV2 Zulu is a daughter channel to TV2, a bit like DR and DR2.
And yes, you have to have a digital receiver to watch the channel unless you already have a old card for an analog receiver (no more of these cards are being made).
You can get a free card for a digital receiver from Canal Digital.
All this is assuming you use a sattelite dish...

Looks like Camilla will have to go through the Chinese team again to win the Open (assuming that Gong wins against Wang Chen of HK).

Chan/Chew beat Limpele/Hian to set up a meet against Eriksen/Lungaard in the men doubles
