Does anybody know anything about the Head racquets, specifically the Metallix 6000? I'm used to play with the YY Armortec 800 offensive 3U/G4 and strung at about 20 lbs. Will there be big adjustments switching to the Head racquet? I'm doing this purely for cost reason. :(

From my personal experience, I did not have any problem switching between the Yonex AT series and Head Metallix series. imho both series have similar racket profiles and the Head Metallix rackets are indeed a good buy.

Havent tried the metallix 6000 but i do have at900p and metallix 2000 and the difference is really obvious. The balance in the yonex is far ahead of the metallix and personally i could never get the metallix to work for me around the net. The metallix is really sweet for smashing and drives though.

Not sure if it fair to compare the AT900p with a Metallix 2000 as the price difference is almost 3x.

I have the Metallix 4000 and prefer it over the AT500. They are good value as you can get them for below retail.

I'm interested in selling my 8000 if anyone's interested.
