The sole appears to be the same as the SHB-91 and looking at the catalogue you will notice the 65 has eight boxes with features like the 91 so I'm guessing they're pretty similar(?). Traditional "toe-box" in contrast to the 4E wide models SHB-200 and SHB-80W. I consider myself to be in the wide feet group and measure in the 11.5-12cm (4.5-4.7 inch) and these fit perfectly although you wouldn't want lateral claws on these ;). The wave sole inside is different from the ones in the SHB-80 as kwun showed: more pronounced waves and no support on the backside (http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=53577&stc=1&d=1239595851). Same shock absorption as usual on Yonex shoes (= less than other brands like Nike & Asics) and ... well ... more pictures?

Box 5 is the insole, this one has the Power Cushion Insole CF, same as the SHB-200. SHB-80 (and 91) have the Power Cushion Insole MC (don't ask me what the difference is).

The outside sole does differ a little bit from the 91 and 200 in design but all three have the Hexagrip sole (as does the 80 I see).

the insole for 80 has a slightly more rigid skeletal around the arch to heel area, 200 is just a uniform material throughout. if you ask me, 80's insole provide better comfort.

This is my take.. very comfortable. One of the best Yonex Shoe that i've tried. Not too tight and not too heavy. Just nice. Cushioning wise is Excellent! Durability wise... hmmmm I guess something have to go.

    Hello demolidor and ants,

What's your take on the consistency of size for this shoe? I'm wearing SHB-100LTD and I'm wondering if I take the same size, will it fit. Of course I'd love to be able to try first but I'm not going to Japan anytime soon.

It is very consistent. If you are getting a normal size 9US .for other model. It will be the same with the 65CF.

Yes they look awesome ;). [Black/Gold] Was going to have a look at the 200's untill I saw these. Sizewise indeed no suprises, as you would expect normally (luckily). Agree with Ants' take: excellent fit (for me) and also thought immediately "not going to last too long". As for the cushioning, can't really compare it to other yonex models since the previous ones I tried were the 89's. It's better than I initially thought (due to hard surface), good on normal surfaces but have had better in other brands although not at this weight. Will probably be fine once I lose the excess bagage I've managed to put on :p (plus my knee is hurting a little from futsal, old nagging injury)

    Oh yeah, shuttle-house indeed!
