    Hi, I'm after some advice:

I used to play a lot of badminton as a kid and have just started playing again after a 7 or 8 year break. My racket had a crack in the frame back then and had been re-strung a couple of times despite this crack.

After 3 or 4 months playing this summer, I have broken a string where the crack is and want to know the best course of action. I attach some pictures of the damage:

What I would like to know is can I save this racket? I still play really well with it and I like playing with it but is the frame going to give up on me if I re-string again at a decent tension? Is it worth a repair? Or should I bin it?

    Cheers

    Guy

unfortunately the cracks are extremely serious and unrepairable.

Powerflo GR ? Oh my goodness, i have forgot about the powerflo series. I think there were like 4 or 5 different models. I believe the Ceramic was the top of the line, Kevlar the 2nd ? There was graphite and boron one too I believe ?

Yeah this is the graphite one, I'm just working my way through a few antiques before I invest in a current model.
I'm getting more and more addicted to the sport and I'm looking into local clubs as we speak, maybe then I'll go and get myself a racket from this century!
