Are there any wide, non-Yonex shoes available?
I know that the Yonex shb-80, 99 and 200 are all wide, but i can't find the specs for shoes of any other brands.
Are there any wide shoes from Victor, Li-Ning, or any other brands?
Also I'm located in the US, so the selection is not nearly as good as in Asia
(I can get the Li-Ning ones since i'm going to China later)

I'm also wondering if there are any wide Yonex shoes that i missed
I know that the older 79s are also wide
Not sure about the 100MX, 100LTD, 101MX and 101LTD though, I've heard conflicting statements about those
I was also wondering if any of those were wide
If anyone could compare how wide they are, that would also be helpful?
(both the 80 and 200 are wide, but 200 is wider, or 80 is wider)

Try Asics Gel Rocket. Way more comfortable than Yonex. I bought the 100Ltd and it is very narrow. Also tried on other yonex shoes and its very narrow. I have flat feet but did a shoe test at a store and its D width but almost a E. The Asics fit is so good that my feet does not move around in shoe. The Yonex I find is too narrow and some areas just does not fit right so my feet would slide and big toe nail would hit the shoe. I believe yonex knows how to make racquets but not shoes. The Asics are slightly heavier but the fit is the most important. I like the Asics color schemes better too. Looks just more sporty. Yonex colors are just tacky.

Where can you buy Asics Gel rocket badminton shoes in Canada? Do you have a pic you can share?

    Hi dawei94,

From my experience, Asics Gel Tactic and Gel Blade 2 is quite narrow. Have not had the opportunity to try Gel Beyond, Gel Blast or Gel Sensei.

Mizuno have a couple of wide shoes (usually indicated with a blue white wide tag) on it. I tried the Wave Smash but it is a bit sharp for me so it rubs against the top of my toe.

You can also try Victor SH-802, SH-803 and VT-7000 models. They are quite wide. The 805 is quite sharp but am not sure if it is wide or not as they don't have it in my size to try on.

So far, for my 3E 9.5 US feet, I can wear the SHB-91MX, SHB-101, SH-802, SH-803 and VT-7000. Out of all, I prefer the SHB-101 the best - but have yet to purchase it as I am waiting for my size in some Li-Ning shoes.

    Hope that helps.

    Justin.

I picked the Gel Rocket up at Sports Check for $67.49 with the 25% discount with a coupon from their website that was for only 2 particular days. Otherwise its $89.99. I know the shoes are only $59 online but I want to try it on for fit. I was very happy with the purchase because I don' t have to wait. The Asics Gel Rocket is the most popular volleyball and indoor court shoe. It has the right fit and perfect cushioning. And I love the colors that it comes in.

    Gel rocket 4

I tried on an Asics Gel Rocket 4 at Sports Chek. They have a special now if you purchase one pair, the 2nd pair is 50% off.
IMHO, the Gel rocket 4 is not wide enough. It seems like a normal size shoes..nothing fancy. Light weight though.

    Have it

I have a pair of Mizuno's and they are slightly wider. Not soft though. It was hard to slip in and out of the shoes. Not comfortable badminton shoes IMHO.
