Actually, i was kinda expecting something similar to a Maple Leaf design, you know as a symbol of Canada..

It is currently 10°C. This is the warmest winter in years. It's not cold enough to snow so snow has been brought down from higher elevations and stockpiled. Great timing huh?

before u can have snow, u gotta have moisture first before the cold. It seem all the moisture got dumped on california:p Little snow in bc means moisture had little energy to go north, poop out, and unloaded onto california:p

I heard they were making snow and store it at higher elevation.

Well actually the moisture that results in snow in the Winter comes from the north. Frickkin' California mositure brings rain (when it does arrive) and along with it, the Pineapple Express (warm winds)–not conducive for snow.

Yes, the mountain crews are working overtime bringing down snow from further up. Not to worry, the Games will go on as we have stockpiled a $hitload of snow :p
