I was wondering if the NZ (New Zealand) version of the Yonex Muscle Power rackets are as good as those of JP or US. The NZ must be better than SP though right?
As to which is better, there are so many opinions of it that you can find a lot of info on this site if you do a search.
it seem JP grapes are better than US or NZ grapes -------------------------------------------- New premium grapes auctioned for $910 in Japan By MARI YAMAGUCHI, Associated Press Writer Mon Aug 11, 8:55 AM ET A new variety of premium grapes debuted in Japan on Monday, with a single bunch fetching as much as $910. A Japanese hotel manager paid that amount, or about $26 per grape, for a 1 1/2 pound (700-gram) bunch of the Ruby Roman grapes to serve guests at an upscale hotel, officials said. "We believe the price was probably a record high," said local agricultural official Hirofumi Isu. "They're delicious — sweet but fresh at the same time, very well-balanced." The tomato-colored grapes made their debut at an auction in Japan's northwestern Ishikawa prefecture, where they have been under development since 1994 in a state-led project. The bunch that fetched the top price had about 35 grapes, each slightly smaller than a pingpong ball, Isu said. The average price for the Ruby Roman grapes at Monday's auction was about $245 a bunch. Isu said local farmers hope to sell 1,500 bunches, or 1 ton, of the grapes by mid-September. Fruit is generally expensive in Japan, and people often buy grapes, peaches and melons as luxury gifts. Japanese are often willing to pay top prices for high-end fruits, especially for the prestige of owning the very first ones of the year. Monday's prices far exceeded those for the most popular premium variety, Muscat of Alexandria, which sell for as much as $90 a bunch at Tokyo's Ota fruit market, the country's largest, according to Koichi Kato, an official at fruit wholesaler Tokyo Seika Co. "It could be a congratulatory price for its debut," Kato said of Monday's auction in Ishikawa. "Tokyo's largest fruit market is very competitive." Copyright © 2008 The Associated Press
JP is usually considered the best of all, then the UK, US and other country codes, follows by SP (including IP), CH, and finally the TH (because it's the cheapest).
NZ's aren't that good. It's pretty hard to obtain NZ-coded MP racquets now, they're being replaced by the armortecs/nanospeeds/arcsabers. NZ-coded Nanospeed racquets are absolutely terrible. They're extremely fragile to be honest. I have friends who have broken: - 2x NS6K - 2x NS8K - 3x NS9K - 1x NS7700 - I've found some 'dead' NZ Nanospeeds lying around in rubbish bins as well. NZ-coded racquets are terribly expensive, and they are not worth the price. NZ-coded Armortec900's cost 340NZD at most shops, whilst the ones which can be bought from Japan ( ie, from shuttle-house ) are 277NZD even at full-price without any discounts at all. I hate NZ-coded YY racquets .. burn in hell. JP fruits are in deed very nice. Apples, Strawberries, Watermelons, etc.. they are much better than NZ ones. However, Mandarins from Japan are not that nice.. they're terribly sour.
I don't think so boss ........... if so, then poor Yonex, because they scarify their own quality ---> all are Made In Japan ....... (I take AT700 as example).
another thread for codes comparison. i think, it will closed soon..... ok, at Japan, let's say A shop selling x model JP coded racket at USD150. then the other B & C shop selling same model at USD180. this mean B & C shop selling a better quality of JP coded racket. i did mention before, can anyone come out with a test for different coded rackets? a certified test. dont just say "from my feeling", "my friends' TH coded rackets broke.....", "JP clashed SP, SP broken into pieces" with a certified test, one can sue Yonex for millions over product infringement.....
the different is whose hand use it.......... i play better if using TH coded. sure will loose games if use JP Coded.
There is also the living conditions of each country where some countries are richer and poorer than others so the price will change to fit country's living conditions. Also assume that all codes are equal in quality then why make all these codes? Why not just make a universal code for all countries.
I find there are seivral agencies in different area, such as SUNRISE in singgpore, WEIJIAN in china. each agency is in charge of one version in order to mangaing the market effectually.
as it is said, distribution code. as a giant in badminton racket manufacturer, they need to sort out the stock to worldwide. warranty claim according to distributed-area. thus, reduce the headache of managing the items. unless, Yonex differentiate the quality by Grade A, Grade B or Grade C products.
Even though TH coded may be the cheapest, does that make them the worst quality? and why are the TH coded racquets the cheapest?
