When you guys bought your APACS racquets, did you get any carrying bag? I mean the kind you will get whenever you purchase a new racquet which can only hold 1 racquet. I am contacting racquet_sports on ebay for a Tantrum 200 and two other racquets. He told me there will be no bag comes with the purchase. Did you get any bag with the new purchase, or just a bare racquet?

BTW, how many of you did buy from him off ebay? He asked me to pay through paypal, but not through ebay to avoid the ebay fee. If many of you have done that, I have nothing to worry about. If not, I need to think about it then.

Thanks in advance for the help!~

never got any bags for my APACS racquets.

I've done the "off ebay" thing many a time with other dealers, he saves = you save (usually they'll give u a slight discount).

I just bought two from him with one 2-compartment bag. Waiting for him to ship them out right now. The bag looks pretty small from the picture on ebay.

you skip ebay's paypal and you skip your chances of a possible claim should there be one arising....:(
    its a double edge sword.

I guess I still have paypal and my credit card bank where I can dispute. But hopefully that won't be necessary. So far the number of good comments is more than bad comments on this guy.

I've purchased a few rackets of Apacs UK and also did not get a racket cover. They did send me a 2-compartment bag. Apacs should make racket covers. Maybe they are doing it for advertising reasons. With a racket cover, it stays inside the bag but with a racket bag, people will see the brand name.

loveleo, always use Paypal just to be safe. I've heard good things about this seller from a few friends but one friend did not have a good experience.

    1. He is legit and a very nice person (I do chat with him before pay $$)
    2. His price is negotiable base on your order
    3. APACS bags are nice (I do recommend it)
    4. However, no communicate after shipping except tracking#

    Hope it helps

By default is no bag, at least that what I understood from APACS Sales person who I met yesterday ..... some package will come with the bag, but agent can buy without bag to reduce the cost.

I have done many deal with Andrew (racquet_sports), and even met him at The Mall, Kualalumpur after X'Mas last year.

I actually don't care about the bag myself. I have a stack of bags that I don't use and collect dust as I use my 9 racket bag to carry everything.

When I bought my Apacs, I received a one compartment bag, which though quite nice, is too big to be used as a racket cover and is totally incapable of carrying all the gear you need i.e. rackets, shuttles, clothes, shoes etc. In effect it is totally useless.

What Apacs should do is provide racket COVERS, not these little, pointless bags. It would be much more suitable for their customers and I would assume CHEAPER FOR THEM !!!!

    Racket Cover

    Hi all,

    This topic stay in forever....

When WE(distributor/manufacturer) sell racket come with cover. Tons of ppl asking us discount for not having a cover. Cost on cover is not much but the cost carrying the cover add up. To pass the saving, we choose not having a cover.

When we are not offering cover. Tons of ppl asking for 1. Guess ppl like to collect them and put them in a good displaying area.

Most player rather carrying a bag. Put rackets, shoes... gears in a bag. We just offer better price on carrying bag.

Our ears are open .... We can add a cover to racket for about $4-$5 extra.

Let do a poll then.. .

    Thanks

cheap is good, the covers don't do too much anyway, i just hung them behind my door(empty) feels like a waste to throw them out, but they're taking up space...
i think the option to buy(for cheaply) a racket bag (small-ish 2-3 rackets with enough room for a tube of shuttles) when you buy the racket is good....
a huge 6-9 racket bag isn't for everyone(like the ones on the apacsuk site)

Maybe list is as as another drop down option (like for the strings) when you're choosing your racket to buy.

I personally would not get one, not because of the price but because I've got around 15 covers sitting in a pile. Even the rackets that I don't currently have in my 9 pc racket bag just get hung on the wall (like you see in the store).

^I like druss's idea. OR also can have a discount on the bags with purchase of racket.

    Hello,

Just out of curiosity. Why didn't your friend have a good experience with him? Other than shipping the item slow are their any more problems with this seller? Like how are his stringing job?Does the product arrive safe and sound? How long does it normally take for the product to arrive? Thanks in advance
