According to Peter Gade himself on www.badmintontv.dk, he received a late invitation to the German Open as a replacement for the injured Peter Rasmusssen. After careful consideration he decided to decline the offer, as his only reason for participating would have been to gain ranking points, "and that would have been against my principles, as my knee should be the only factor in deciding when to play or not."

Gade's next tournament will be the China Open in december, as scheduled.

Kenneth Jonassen was a surprising loser to Jürgen Koch in the German Open today.

Surprising since Jonassen has been playing pretty well lately.

Good news for Jonas Rasmussen in the MD as he and his partner won today beating Larsen/Christensen.

Jonax, good luck in the upcoming XD.
