i'm gonna get the tape from MBS, seems pretty good and cheap. plus a BCer recommends it, so should be good

be careful with tape other than the one that comes with the grip. it might be too adhesive. i used the tape from MBS on my arcsaber 7 and it pulled off the paint around the cone when i peeled off the tape. it never happens with the normal tape that comes with the grip. those tapes are not as sticky or adhesive.
and yes, my racket is authentic.
this never happened with my past rackets so maybe the arcsaber 7 just has poor paint durability. but anyway, just a word of caution.

really? what do you use then?
would hate to see paint chips on the cone.

i just use the tape that come with the grips. they're not as adhesive but at least my paint stays on.

when removing the grip tape, try pulling it slightly downward the butt of the grip away from the cone. that can prevent paint chip on cone when removing tape or grip.

llpjlau, I have used the binding tape from MBS, on 90% of my rackets (Trinity, Ultra, Arc10, At700, NS9000x, Tantrum200, Lethal60 etc) I never had the paint peel off! Maybe the paintjob of your Arc7 wasnt that good. Suprising
The worst paintjob i've come across, is the Victor BS08, decal starts to peel off naturally!

i go with good old electrical tape, cheap and effective if it happens to pull off some paint i don't really care about that at all actually ive had racquets with no paint left on the cone due to towel grip and all now that im back to grap and over wraps i just try and finish it off with electrical tape which reminds me i need to buy some more.
