Micro-pore tapes are the best , it offer grip and absorption as well on top of the racket. Stretch nicely and bound tightly to the racket and the O/G. you get 5m of that stuff for about $2 , what more can I say ?

p./s when you take it off , it doesn't even leave any sticky residue behind and since it designed specially for human skin , it wont damage the paintwork at all.

You can get "grip end tape" from badminton shops, but I just split a six inch piece of standard electrical tape down the middle lengthways. A quid for 6 rolls from B&M or Home Bargains, it stretches perfectly to keep the grip tight at the top. Job done.

+1 for PE electrical tape.
It's dirt cheap and easier to apply than most proper grip tapes because it's stretchier(the tape that comes with Yonex Supergrap is rubbish). It also looks better because there's no ugly logo and it comes in a range of colors to match your racket.
In my experience, it doesn't damage the paint at all, and doesn't leave any kind of sticky residue.

No model number on the tape, just says made in taiwan. If you want some, just order from mybadmintonstore.

I just do a search for "nitto". I use this tape as well. Very good tape and it doesn't leave behind any glue on the handle when you peel it off, like electrical tape does.

+1 for mbs finishing tape. It works extremely well and stretches with ease. it also rips when you want so you dont have to carry scissors. I just wrap it around 1-2 times and stretch the end until it breaks and it finishes very clean.

Try electrical wire bind tape.(PVC tape). They work wonders.
1) They don't came off easily like most of the grip tape if you dont stretch properly when sticking it.
2) They are light (almost weightless)
3) They are available in many colors (Black, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, you name it)
4) They are water resistant (they are meant for electrical - Hey. So if u sweat, it won't affect the tape's adhesiveness)
5) Any DIY shops, Electrical shops, etc will sell. Easy to get.
6) They are cheap.

A trick that I picked up from the guy who strings my rackets which has worked well is to use a lighter to very lightly heat the tape after you've applied it--helps the tape mould to the cone and gets rid of creases. Don't hold the lighter too close though

if you have a super glue, just a small touch at then end of the tape will do. It'll stick forever.
