I've been in this forum long time. but only now im introducing myself my name is Dory Sandler. from Israel. playing for almost 6 years. So Hi everyone!
funny thing, even when Israel and Malaysia do not have diplomatic connections my 3 rackets have MY code
Welcome.. ..to BCDF and Shalom, dorysan (Dory)!..Yes, i've noticed your presence in BC for a while. Btw, the MY code is only for the local distribution code. And unless they've changed the designation, i don't think MY refers to Malaysia; Malaysia has MA for the country code. Any pics or stories you want to share with us on the baddie life in Israel? Anyway, keep visiting us, pass the word around abt BC and keep enjoying BC!
Shalom! on my Victor super waves 32 said MY life in israel? i guees its not to bad like you've thought there is no kemals and send everywhere there is no war in the city where i live (there is no war at all in fact. the press just overdo everything ) so... normal life combined with lot of badminton
Shalom Dory. I had an oppurtunity to visit Israel for business purposes & I just fell in love with your country. I was staying & working in Herzlia but had the wonderful oppurtunity to visit Jerusalem. I would love to visit again! Welcome to BC.
^^Will keep that in mind..^^ ..thanks for the hospitality and i hope to visit Israel in the future.. *Any pics of your baddie clubs or activities??..
yeah there should be some... http://badminton-israel.co.il/eng/index.html and if anyone of you have facebook i have tons of photos
^^Cool..^^ ..i quickly saw a few photos and you guys definitely have a lively baddy community. The gyms look spiffy as well..if i may link one of the pics: http://badminton-israel.co.il/eng/showPic.php?ref=../Gallery/IsrCup2008/&num=3&max=72 Hopefully Israel will get a GP or GP Gold tourney sometimes in the near future. I'm sure the Israeli baddy fans will support it.
the gym in the photo is one of the crappy gyms the floor and the light are bad... we should have some international tournament this year if we will, i will post it here
Oh really??.. ..yeah, i can see by the windows facing the players' eyes...wow, i wonder how the nicer gyms/halls actually look like??.. As for holding international tourneys, you can share them w/us in the Tournaments section. That way the tourneys will get more exposure rather than in this Intro. section/thread (more people visit that section)..
i should shot our gym (in Or akiva where i live) or look for photos... its the best gym IMO high ceiling, good floor and the light are not to strong and thanks for the suggestion i should post it there
