    Hi all,
Last week someone approached at the gymnasium, he was selling apacs equipment and I thought “Just another guy trying to make some money with some crappy rackets”.
He showed me several models and just to be polite I tried them… I was really surprised by the quality and the feeling of the rackets. My favourite was the Lethal 70, I enquired about the price, Rs.1300 (which is about 40$). This price includes a grip, a wristband and the string. I immediately bought one and had it stringed (25 lbs). I played with it last Tuesday and it is just wonderful:); good control and powerful smash.
I don’t know about the durability but I will keep you posted.
    Until then

what the guy did was wonderful. My badminton coach said "Never buy a racket off the shelf". All of us should try out the racket first, get the feel of it, whether we like it or not then consider buying it.

Did he string it on the spot too?

Your coach is right. My coach have tried it before I buy and I got the green light. I once bought a Nano 9000 without trying it and now it's just lying in my bag unused.

The string was made by some else.

    Crappy racket !!???

In the " pre Apacs period ", we mostly had access to fakes + there was no way one could test a racket before buying it . The way Apacs is being sold in Mtius is a player's approach towards marketing the product . Selling in shops would have made the rackets more expensive and removed the possibility for the buyer to find his ideal weapon .

I agree with you 100%.. Rackets are not cheap.
It should be TRY then BUY, not BUY then TRY.

Well, sometimes we can try our friends' rackets to get the feel of it. But with those new rackets, it would be harder to get our hands on it if we just want to try.

So the way of bringing new rackets in the market to players for them to TRY first before they BUY is definitely recommended. Something i would like to do too.

Seriously.. I hope i get to go there one day.. :)

And what i meant in the previous post was I also want to do what you are doing now. Selling rackets by bringing the rackets to players for them to try out.

This is an excellent service u provided.

    second game

This Tuesday I played again with my Lethal 70. Still good, my hits are getting more accurate but I need to change the overgrip, it's quite thick.
