I just ordered a tube. Once I receive it, I'll post a small review.

Got the tube last night. I'll be playing tomorrow night, so I'll probably post something on Saturday (or whenever the server is back up).

    okay, so...
    these birds are amazing!
flight path isn't as good as a top-of-the-line bird, but they take quite the beating before they start to wobble. Even with pieces from most of the feathers missing, they still seem to fly at a normal speed. They don't have the same accuracy or feeling as RSL #1 or AS50, but they're just as durable (if not more durable). And for $15/tube, these are by far the most bang for your buck. Highly recommended.

hey, which speed did you get?

also has anyone compared them to the Yonex AS30? i can get them at a similar price, but the AS30 seems 2 break rather easily...

the AS-30 goes way 2 fast compared to any other shuttle i've tired

RSL Tourney No.1 has to be the most consistent i've tried so i'm wondering the MBS are that different from them or just slightly off?

Agreed with previous review that these do not have the best flight paths or feeling, but is quite durable. The feathers seem to have been treated somehow and they don't break the same way as others (like Aeroplane).
This durability is quite useful in places like Canadian winters, as others (like Wilson) are too brittle/dry during the winter months, and they break easily.
For $12-15/dozen, definitely best bang for the buck...

I ordered the 51/78 speed, and I sometimes need to slow them down (but not often). That being said, I live in Canada, and it's winter right now, so you may want to go 1 speed slower than I did.

And I do still prefer the feel of the RSL tourney No. 1 as far as feel and accuracy is concerned, but the durability of the MBS shuttles is at least as good, and probably better.

    I haven't tried AS30, so I can't provide a comparison there.

i got the 77 speed, they seem a bit light, the smashes seem to go quiet fast compared to RSL standard, don't have that solid feel as RSL... tho i feel they're not as durable as RSL when you smash it...
anyone tried the Chao Pai red and these? how do they compare?
found a site where the tourney #1s are slightly cheaper then MBS.. but havn't brought anything from them... so a don't know if i should change after i finish my MBS shutles

i bought the 77 speed and i agree with above posts that they seem light and don't have the same feel or flight as other better quality shuttles. They do have great durability though, especially for shuttles in the $13 dollar range and are great for training and non-competition play. I think i had one shuttle last about 10-15 minutes of smash practice, might have been lucky though and picked up an extra durable one.

i havn't tried the aeroplane black but the Hi-Qua blue's very similar to the MBS, except slightly heavier (just a tad), i would prefer the MBS, and they're $5 USD cheaper on mybadmintonstore... the flight's basically similar, and similar durability, tho from the MBS i played i didn't get a feather sticking out which changes the flight path dramatically, while i did with the Hi-Qua blue...
