Wisnu or Vito will need to play extremely well to win a medal in the AJC.

    These are the main contenders:
    Sameer Verma (10/22/1994)
    Kenta Momota (9/1/1994)
    Thammasin Sittikhom (4/7/1995)
    Ng Ka Long (6/24/1994)
    Soong Joo Ven (5/19/1995)
.......not to mention the CHN or KOR players whom I do not list here.

yes, that's right, another contender should be Tam Chun Hei, Khosit Phetpradab, Pratul Joshi, Tzu Wei Wang... that's why i said that this will be one of the most competitive AJC.

many players are at (almost) the same level. I dont think there are player who are way ahead of the others. I will be happy if both can go further to QF and one of them get a medal

I believe Tam Chun Hei is not eligible as he's born in 1983 (from the BWF Junior Ranking profile).

Judging from Wisnu's perfomance in Vietnam IC, i think we can put hope on him.

But i think either Thamasin or Kenta Momota to win AJC this year. Kento is very talented, i like his playing style.

oh yes, i think you are right badMania... i remember it when i read WJC 2011 entry. Tam was born 1993. but, still wonder, how come he can join German Junior ?

Kento is good... but i think Thammasin is more talented. taller than Kento, and have a deadly attacking style... I believe, Thammasin has a better talent compare to other Thai MS talents...

i think wisnu do have a good chance... he defeated Thammasin in WJC last year... cmiiw...
but in 2013, Thammasin is the strongest contender for WJC in my opinion...

as an attacker, a good counter puncher will have a good chance to stop him...
so, Ikhsan Maulana Mustofa is maybe our hope to stop Thammasin....
Fikri Ihsandi Hadmadi lost tightly to Thammasin in Tangkas Junior Challenge, but i dont think he can stop Thammasin next year....

The limit age of German Junior & Dutch Junior as Under 19 y.o by date (born on March 93 or younger)

now, how about sending Fitriani to AJC..

I only fancy Russely Hartawan to play in doubles with Lya Ersalita. Maybe a successor to Shella/Anggi in the Juniors.

yeah, but actually Putri is 16, will turn 17 this month, while Ruselly is stil 15. Somehow, now i think it will be a tight battle between Berlian, Ruselly and Putri to fight for another 2 tickets. Hehehe.

i still think Ruselly will go for AJC/WJC

The fate of Tangkas Junior International Challenge [$15,000 and 7000 BWF Junior Ranking Points] is not clear yet... I heard they got Specs as their main sponsor, but somehow it is not yet in BWF's Calendar.... :?

PBSI will try to apply for BWF's sanction for Flypower Junior International Series [$5000 and 5000 BWF Junior Ranking Points] in Jogja, around 6-9 Sept 2012. Nice timeslot in between Sushant Chipalkatti India Junior International Series [$5000 and 5000 BWF Junior Ranking Points] and Malaysia International Challenge [$15,000 and 7000 BWF Junior Ranking Points]. The Last Junior Tournament in Asiathis year is Li Ning Singapore International Series [Sin$9920 and 5000 BWF Junior Ranking Points].

    So...
    Indonesia Jr. International Challenge
    India Jr. International Series
    Indoinesia Jr. International Series
    Malaysia Jr. International Challenge
    Singapore Jr. International Series

According to the latest BWF rules, there is room for 2 more Jr. International Series under BAC and lots more for Jr. Future Series... I hope in 2013 or later we see:
    Very possibly...
    China Jr. International Series
    Japan Jr. International Series

    Later on, quite possibly...
    Korean Jr. Future Series
    Philippine Jr. Future Series
    Thailand Jr. Future Series
    Vietnam Jr. Future Series
    Chinese Taipei Jr. Future Series

Ok, this is a bit of a stretch...
    Bahrain Jr. Future Series
    Myanmar Jr. Future Series
    Pakistan Jr. Future Series
    Sri Lanka Jr. Future Series
    Bangladesh Jr. Future Series

I just rechecked the BWF rules. If BAC already selected 3 Junior International Series tournaments, then no more slots for China and Japan. Oh well, sorry... too bad...

any info on Aida Arum Amanah? She has won two titles in U-17 division this year, in Sirnas Jambi and Sirnas Makassar.

how good is she? Aida just 15 and will turn 16 next month, i think she is quite tall for girl of her age, 163 cm, and of course will still growing.

Ruselly, Berliyan, Lya, Marsa, Aida, and Syafitri will most likely be our top U19 in 2 years... They will compete for 3 slots at the AJC and WJC 2014... I don't have the official measurement, but looks to me Ruselly is going to be the shortest, Berliyan shall be the tallest... Ruselly has the most mature and most competitive attitude among these 6 at this time. She deserves to be the #1 U17 player today. Among the 3 clubmates from PB. Djarum, Marsa has shown the best progress, better than Aida and Syafitri...
