Question about "seeded entries" system

Hi all, i have a little question :

In the ss tournaments, are the seeded entries ranked 1 to 8 by the world ranking or the super series ranking ?

Because i wonder if the ss ranking is useless or not ( is it significant ? )

ss ranking is just for ss master final which will held on 2-6 december at mas

Then, what is the usefulness of the ss ranking ?
I don't think this ranking is useful : look at WS, PI hongyan is ranked 2, only because she played 10 tournaments !
The seeded entries in ss tournaments might be ranked by the ss ranking, it would give a sense to it.

ss ranking only for u to qualify for ss master final
it is nothing to do with ss tournament
the real world ranking might be closer to player real ability
