    Default How does this one work?

    Just wanted to know the mechanics of a shot which I've seen quite a few players use lately.

    Check that video out, and watch Taufik's forehand drive down the line at 2:27 approximately.
    Is it just me or does the shuttle arc out and then in again towards the back? Is it just the arc of the height of the shuttle and the angle of the camera? Or does Taufik put top spin on it?
    If it does appear to be a trick-shot or something alike, can any of you who know it please explain the racquet motions behind the shot? Thanks.

    I tink it is jus the camera angle but cudnt b sure. If it is topspin or sidespin, b nice shot to learn!!!!!!!!

    looks more like a camera angle..there are also similar captures/shots @ 7:22 and (a backhand clear) @ 7:30..
