What type of style shot do you like the most? By style shot, I mean a shot that impressively wins a point.

    -Powerful jump smash
    -Crosscourt drop
    -Backhand smash
    -Deceptive net shot
    -Clever smash return
    -Ace serve
    -Other (tell us!)

Yesterday, I performed a jump smash for the first time. I did it on instinct in the middle of a doubles rally, without even trying to do so. It went faster and steeper than any other shot I've hit, and was not returned. This was against better players than myself. After that I could do it on muscle memory :D so that would have to be my pick.

Maybe this could be a poll :p

Straight smash, around-the-head crosscourt smash, punch clears, and reverse slice dropshots are my favourite....same with straight netshots!

Pretty offensive player....I love getting good angles.

    wow,hahaha..
I envy you guys having too much power on your smashes,I on the otherhand tend to do smashes that have a great angle but doesn't have a decent power but most of the points that I had made are because of my tumbling net drops :D,hahaha..

My favourtie is the Gade trickshot.

When dones successfully - it is a beuty!

Also I love good cross-court nets which leave the opponent standing there.

Also a good deceptive punch clear , which leaves the opponent flat footed!

My favourite shot is to jump in the air to give the appearance of a jump smash, and then to clear it hard to the back to the court at the last second. The opponent should be forced to change their tack at the last minute and usually responds with a backhand clear which is easy to smash (because I'm already there). That said, I don't mind backhand smashes either.

I like doing cross-court forehand smashes from the backhand corner. I seem to get a much steeper angle and some deception in the stroke as well. I can always seem to hit it powerfully and within a foot of the sideline.

Jump smashing is fun but really it's done all the time. My favorite shots when I can pull them off are 1. intercepting a drive (when I'm at front) and 2. smashing the opponents smash (or what was supposed to be one).

    Type of shot

    Hi,
My favourite shot which I like to perform is backhand drive. This is only done when opponent is slightly out of position.;)

Haha I'm like that ;). I'm not so confident in my smash, so I only smash if it's an easy kill. I tend to drop and try to get my opponent off balance through deception. I like to wait for my opponent to make the error, as my defense is pretty good... I usually start matches well but when people get used to my game it just gets a little obvious and I don't really have any other strategies to fall back on! Which is a pretty big problem... After a while deception is almost impossible because they know it's coming (think I over do it)!

Ah yeah, and I also like to use my height to cut off high shuttles early.
