I do think that's probably what he (Lin Dan) meant. At least, more mentally than physically. If he seemed unmotivated and reluctant then it would be a pretty safe guess. I haven't seen the match though.

Did LD give credits to Choi after the korean beat him in 2 sets? he should at least a acknowledge the korean instead of just giving the reason that he's fatigue or something.

Is normal to find excuse when you lose, it happens to any pro and casual players. Even someone acknowledges the brilliant play of his opponent after the defeat, usually follows by some sort of "side/hidden" excuses in the subsequent statements ... My is obvious, my BATA shoes are not good enough

ok, i try to explain for you:
he was just tired because of two tournaments in the second half of the year. one was in france, the other at home. but not only tournaments, he had to travel a lot too.

Hmm, I think LD had to acknowledge that CHJ played well. If a player didn't play well, how could he beat even a tired LD? Media reporting false things?
For the bolded part, he was saying that he competed in the French Open, and many other tournaments we don't know about in China, which might be the cause for wearing him out

france? but seriously, its obvious that his good results din΄t come as easy as some fans might think. and it΄s not easy for Lin Dan to handle expectations and pressure.
