Just tested the AP62 with the vernier, and on the slack it is, indeed, 0.62 mm. For the record, Zymax 62, Zymax 67 and SOTX 1040Ti are also correctly specified.

What about AP85Ti? I tried it and pretty satisfied.
AP90 is on the way to Thailand next lot, I'd love to try it.

Bro xiAoqIan: The two type of string u use for li ning is it better than Yonex BG 80, bg 85, NBG 95, BG 66 ?

I hv tested this AP62..this is really a fantastic string and I would say the repulsion power, feels and control is really really good..U guys can try this string..some more is cheaper than BG66..

B4 that, I hv also tried LiNing other string..below is the comments which I dont really recommend for it..
AP101N/AP90/AP85Ti - These 3 strings quite similar..Just a normal string and nothing special but the price is sky high..not worth it to pay for it and better stick to BG66.
AP80 - So easy to burst and totally cant last..heard that LiNing had stop this string and re-called all the strings back..
AP70 - The feels is suck but the durability is very good..recomended for training and totally not for competition. Better stick to BG65.

I heard from my friend working at Ion Li ning Singapore, he told me new set of strings be coming early April 2010.

AP62 is less stiff than Zy62, and so IMO is more "accessible". AP62 has slightly less grip on slices, but it's not a huge difference. Power-wise I have them neck and neck.

Six hours in with AP62 now, and it gets better and better.

I hope so - it's such a winner. I don't think Winston would send me these things to test unless he's at least on the fence about it, so if he reads enough gushing praise on BC it might make his mind up.

MBS already has the 1st gen Li Ning rackets (and the N90-II) and bags on its books, so strings should be easy. I'll have to ask Winston what his intended sticker price would be - I have a good idea what I would be prepared to pay for AP62.

MBS is sending my 4 packets of AP62...should get them in about a week. Have been using NBG98 all this time, and so far nothing has come close. Was using BG80, then BG85. Hopefully I won't be disappointed.

Have played with AP62 for about 5 hours now...strung @ 26/28 #s on Arc 8DX. Very impressed with it. No fraying yet. Thought it wouldn't last the first hour being so thin. Tension's still holding. Love the power and control...more so than NBG98...so far.

Li-Ning is rebranding Ashaway strings AP62 = ZyMax62, AP90 = ZyMax67
The "made in USA" gives it away

Just a quick one, I am playing with Ashaway MP at 23x25, and word has it that with the ZyMax 62, I should go down a pound or two lower. Does this still apply to the AP62 or not so?
