Just thinking of a starting point. Was there one last year cos i was not aware there was one in 2007? If so, what did you guys do?
CCC End-of-Year Dinner Parties . In 2007, we combined with Doncaster Badminton players at Kam Po. In 2008, we combined with Wesley Badminton players at Palmerston. .
i could vote for happy valley again given my bias towards singing. But i think a more "normal" choice would be a restaurant, maybe even a pincic at studley park road (or any other place) where everybody brings their own food (and that would probably limit to sat day morning given sunday morning is out).

It's good that someone is asking "when is it?", i always feel that's more important than the location, cos if we never get the date then people would keep asking "when is it?". given that the weekdays are out and sundays are also out for most people who work on monday, traditionally saturday is probably the only one that's available really for CCC. i am throwing 4 sat days into the hat. 28/11 5/12 12/12 19/12
CCC End-of-Year (2009) function/celebration Badminton Dinner . Btw, we have always said "The more people, the merrier". After having checked with Albert Park Badminton Club and Wesley Badminton Club, they have informed me their dates for their End-of-Year (2009) Dinners. * Monday 07-Nov-2009 - Wesley Badminton Club Dinner * Wednesday 09-Nov-2009 - Albert Park Badminton Club Dinner I am as close to both the Badminton Clubs as many will know. Shall we join one of the above 2 clubs to celebrate together, or shall we hold our own independent CCC Dinner Party (separately)? .
Chris, I didn't know wednesday was available given that CCC has a session on. Obviously, it depends on what the CCC people want i guess. Hopefully more people will respond in the near future after you go around and advertise this at all sessions.
Australian Schools Volleyball Championships Week . Just noticed my typo. It should read: * Monday 07-Dec-2009 ......... Wesley Badminton Club Dinner * Wednesday 09-Dec-2009 ... Albert Park Badminton Club Dinner During that week, starting from Sunday 06-Dec-2009, MSAC will be closed for Badminton. It's the week for the Australian Schools Volleyball Championships. .
Just thinking of the past, what day of the week was the previous years's party being held on? For 2008, all I can remember is the yum cha thing that happened on a sunday. I don't recall there was anything combined with Wesley badminton as I was going through the discussion thread.

Sharon, I think at the moment either 7/12 or 9/12 are being discussed given that chris is tring to combine with wesley or albert park. I think my suggestion of 3 satdays (as you mention) are more like last resort.
When to hold our 2009 CCC End-of-Year Lunch? . Today, Sunday 15-Nov-2009, at our CCC CATS at MSAC, Belinda and Sharon said that Yum Cha (Lunch) at Gold Leaf at Docklands is a good idea. So, we shall not do our CCC End-of-Year Party with Wesley Badminton Club and/or Albert Park Wesley Badminton Club. Both of them clubs are thinking of dinner, while we CCCers are now thinking about lunch. It is now up to our CCCers to decide on the date: When to hold our 2009 CCC End-of-Year Lunch? .
