Intermediate players wanted: Thursday evenings (near city hall)

Players wanted for Thursday evening games.

Time: Nov. 12 from 6--10pm

Venue: will PM confirmed players (5 minutes' walk from city hall)

Court: 3 courts from 6--7:30, one court afterwards

Level of play: we accept intermediate players only (low-intermediate & above for ladies)

Fee: court is free. A nominal fee of $3 will be charged for shuttles (just to encourage punctuality -- the earlier you arrive, the better value for money

)

Depending on the number of people turning up, we may play either doubles or singles. We play regularly every Thursday evening. I'll update this thread when slots are opened up for BC members.

Interested individuals please PM me your gender, level of play, and cell phone number. I'll confirmed with you by early tomorrow morning.

At times, I felt embarassed by citing myself "intermediate".

High Beginner is just nice for me.

To us personally, intermediate/ advance are for very good players; ex school players or existing school players/ play like school players, represented for club

Thanks for your comments, Ron and Eric.

Eric, we actually think compared to pros, all amateurs are beginners, school players or not.

We just go with the usual understanding of levels. To me, everybody is at least intermediate, as I'm not even able to lob to baseline
