The dateline to submit your group is Saturday, November 28, 2009.
Please send the name of team leader, members' names, team logo (if available) to info@birdievent.com

Note: We limit the number of players per team to 10 is due to time restriction (round robin). The best two of the bracket will be in Semi-Final...

..so the 10 players are based on "first come, first included" basis??..
how abt if there are 9 players and 2 additional people want to join. how would you choose who could make the last spot??..
also, how often are you guys planning to hold this intra-club event?..

If we receive strong supports from members and of course ABC, we are planning to have this event at least 3x a year (Winter, Spring & Summer).

If you have "odd" numbers of players, the team leader will decide the players selection. That is why we require every team to submit the players' names before the event to minimize confusion if player(s) may sign up to multiple teams.

If by the dateline, a team has not submitted the players' names, we will call it forfeit.

    thanks,

Please check www.superbirdbadminton.com or Birdievent.com for any upcoming SuperBird Survival Tournaments. For the Survival Singles-->it's going to be in Jan 2010-pending date.

SuperBird Men Doubles/Women Doubles is NEXT. Will probably be the week after Birdievent Team Winter Competition 2009. Please check for update by next week.

for the MD & WD tournament, i take it the entry fee is the same as before? and random pairing as well?
I also heard there will be another mini-tournament before the Birdievent Team Winter Competition 2009?? If not mistaken it's either this coming weekend or next weekend (after Thanksgiving). Any confirmation on this?

What type of shuttlecocks will be allowed to be used in this event ? Or perhaps ABC will become sponsor of the event by sponsoring the birdies for the event ???

The shuttlecock will be provided by the players who participate on the event.
Of course, we do not expect the players to use "plastic" shuttlecock .

    Default Way to go, Rudy..

..as of today/y'day, i noticed there will be 12 teams competing in this 1st ever ABC intraclub event! That means, at least 120 people will be there...
I also heard you guys will only reserve 6 courts. Hopefully we won't have to stay til very late..

And since it's free to join, see you guys, next Sunday, on the court(s)..
