Yes, even the very first ones had the old style cone code. Don't know if JP was different but I don't see a reason why it would be ...

Errm, how does he know it's JP if there is no cone code?? If there is JP on the shaft like SP then it is fake for sure ...

Okay , in that case there is nothing to worry about. Should be fine, at least according to the numbers . Found two results in google as well and in one of the lists next to the Ti-10 with almost the same number as above was a NS7000JP serial-cone code combination I also copied from a picture in Camel Sports, JP specialist in Beijing, store.

I took a read of the first thread, and can confirm that the seller is really no other than Camel himself, so there is no doubt of him selling rare genuine Yonex racquets

As for determining if an old racquet without the shaft serial and code suffix is of JP code, the ever present Japan Consumer Safety "SG" mark will be on the weight and grip specification sticker:

    yup, it's fake
the shaft serial is too low (it should be around 96XXXXX-97XXXXX, not 90XXXXX)

Yes that one is a fake, stay away from cone code with letters JP if from eBay to be safe. Also the real one has white shaft and cone numbers which are very hard to see in a picture like below
