also, that is not only the problem
even if it's 2010 production it's still a fake racket
the reason is the shaft serial is too low for 2010 production
you are the 17th person who has this type of shaft serial and cone code (shaft serial started with 7, production 2009 / 2010)
maybe your friend doesn't even know about it
I watched someone sold it for high price and people buy it because it comes with box, softcloth (it's JP racket), and also 2 overgrip
it looks pretty convincing if you don't know about badminton racket

I want to ask a question about the possibility of repeating numbers to racquets. whether this is possible in principle? I saw an offer to sell racquets at auction and in descriptions were pictures. on one of the pictures were photographed by several badminton rackets with the same code. I guess it's fake because the code does not contain letters, numbers only, but this fact made me ask this question of repetition code.
Can I put a link to these pictures at the auction in order to get your comments about these rackets?
And I want to ask you again about my racket:
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
racket model: Yonex arcsaber z-slash Taufik Hidayat
shaft serial: 7372601
cone code : 281092JP
source : ?
price : don't know. it's a gift for my jubilee.
---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
Could it be some inaccuracy in your reply about its authenticity?
Thanks for your answers!

shaft serial in Yonex racket made in JAPAN is ONE OF A KIND
arcsaber z-slash i made in Japan, so no, you cannot find two similar shaft serial
but you could find two similar CONE CODE (because basically cone code is the date of the racket being made and Yonex Japan produce around 3000 rackets per day)
yes, you can post the pic in here
but if the cone code does not contain 2 letter that means it's a fake racket
your arcsaber z-slash is a fake racket
and I already said to you that you are not the only one who has this type of racket (started with 7, and production 2009 or 2010)
We have data over thousands Yonex rackets so we know about itLast edited by Avenger; 03-01-2011 at 10:48 AM.

thanks for your answer.
I carefully looked closely at the symbols on photographs and considered that are 2 letter at the end of code on rackets sold at auction. Thanks again for your responses.

Sorry, I don't really know, since the number a friend who lives in San Jose has copied the number for me. But, I don'y think it is any official shop recognized by YONEX USA. However, my friend said it is trust worthy. Just want to check the authenticity, I might ask my friend later, but I will like to know, is the racket genuine? Thank you and have a nice day.

Also fake. Pretty simple, when in the US if you're unsure don't buy anything other than cone code ending on "US". Don't know if it works but: http://yonexusa.com/retail.cfm
Shaft serial is a running production number and should match with the cone code. In the above case the shaft serial/production number has been reached years ago, we are in the 9 million something range by now.

Demolidor, someone from Tepokbulu forum PM me asking about second hand Yonex Ti-10 1st gen JP
he said there is no shaft serial and cone code on the racket
that means it's a fake right?
