. We can see that both our World Singles No.1's, Wang Yihan and Lee Chong Wei, are getting tired towards the end of this year, 2009. However, many fans are still hoping for them to be able to participate in the 2009 Super Series Masters Finals. Question: Will our World Singles No.1's be participating in the 2009 SS Masters Finals? .
the poll will be: no,both of them wont yes, both of them will lcw will and wyh wont why will and lcw wont not sure
Fans of WYH and LCW will definitely hope for them to participate . Fans of WYH and LCW will definitely hope for them to participate. IMHO, LCW would be there (just because it's held in Malaysia). And, for WYH, many think she would skip this one. .
2009 Super Series Masters Finals: WYH will be attending . Thanks suetyan for the info. It's sure good to find WYH and BCL attending. .
LD should grab this title since it's one of the few titles he hasn't got. This should be on your check list LD!
From BWF site, it stated that LD will not play here. *sigh relief* from other 7 competitors from MS. And I do not think he need to prove himself anymore. He already winning all the major title that is. Super series Final where one country only allow to have two players to play in my opinion just not a major event in my book. Example: In WS: cause China had 4 WS, Firdasari and Salakjit will replace two of them. They are in because they play tons of SS events. Firda play 11 SS and Salakjit 9 SS. None of them had reachat least one SS semi final. Both had only reach QF three times. The rest are mostly lost in first or second round. At least this year Firda beat Tine once in SS event. But Salakjit?
And what an absurd this SS Final event . One country can only had 2 players in each category. But a player can collect a total of 12 SS events for the final SS rankings. Example: Pi Hong Yan are number 2 in WS super series ranking cause she had total points from 12 SS events. But the REAL world ranking only based on maximal of your best from ten events. Maybe it will be better if SS rankings also based on your best TEN SS events points. Thats why we will have some not very best players/ pairs in some of the categories.
^^Now, imagine this..^^ ..what if the prize money were increased 10 fold ($5 mil)???..don't you think all the top players/national bodies will be lining up in droves to attend this tourney??..*dream on, dream on*..
