Good Morning all... It is cold and smoggy in Delhi right now and I am having a great cup of Assam tea on my workstation....

Adnan Fauzi lost the singles match last evening (never mind, he played well). But he still has atleast two titles to target and I am sure he will win his both matches today.

Interesting matches this evening, first two involving, IMHO, the best junior potential Indian badminton right now has --
    Andre Tedjono vs RMV Gurusaidutt
    Sikki Reddy vs Jeanine Cicognini
    Dyonisius Rumbaka vs P Kashyap
Sai Praneet vs Kong Beng Chan
    Saina Nehwal vs Fransiska Ratnasiri
    Chetan Anand vs Anup Sridhar
    PV Sindhu vs Maria Kusumastuti

All INA pairs should win their matches (except Nadya/Devi Tika perhaps)..

lots of potential of India players indeed, good for baddy....but considering Hayom's form lately I wouldn't be surprise if he can beat Kashyap today....

Adnan Fauzi/Devi Tika Permatasari check in to the SF after a straight-set victory today. They will face Tarun Kona/Shruti Kurian for a place in the Final. Pretty tough. Nadya and Devi have to play again very shortly against Aparna Balan/Shruti Kurian. A bad scheduling

Meanwhile, Andre Kurniawan Tedjono is involved in a tight-battle against Gurusaidatt R.M.V.

Andre lost the first set 18-21, despite leading for most of the set. At 18-17, Gurusaidatt won 4 pts in a row to take the first set.

Andre lead when he played patiently, many points from drop shot or half smash. In the end 1st set Guru played faster and Andre failed by long return or give chance Guru on smash.
2nd set no TV broadcast, switched to Wrestling.

I just noticed that all INA doubles players have to play 2 matches within 2-3 matches.

Enjoyed to watch Hayom's match, so many highlight shot on TV. It's pity the broadcast is shared with Wrestling.

Yup, hard battle for Hayom to overcome Kashyap. Next, Hayom likely will take on Chan Kwong Beng tomorrow.

Dionysius Hayom Rumbaka certainly shows a lot of progress in the past few months. Next year, he will surely overtake Andre Kurniawan Tedjono. I would like him to be included in INA's Thomas Cup Team....to give an element of surprise to potential opponents.

INA Doubles pairs from PB Suryanaga have what it takes to win the titles in India this week! It's good to see Nadya and Devi still actively participating in tourneys this year and hopefully they can deliver the WD title.

Sindhu P.V. looked good, she beat Sayali Gokhale in prev round and now she took 1st set against Maria Febe 21-15.
