    Malayali,

Just going by your name, i am sure you should have heard of Chennai (Madras) and i am sure you know which state it's in. Unless, you grew up in chennai (Madras) me providing you details of the shop name and directions are totally futile. If you do land up in chennai, try to head to Kasi Chetty lane (street whatever) and hopefully you can find the shops there. I dont know the name of the different shops. I think one of them is called "INspiration Motherhood" or something like that.

I suppose it answers your city, state and shop etc etc questions.

    Best of luck/QUOTE

I think they are legit based on this 2005 newsarticle (just pay attention to supplier and suppliers):

    Sport - Badminton

Latest stringing machine set up at Chennai

CHENNAI: After Mumbai and Bangalore, it is Chennai, which will have the benefit of the latest electronic badminton and tennis stringing machine `Es 5 Pro', a fully computerised facility that guarantees 100 per cent stringing result.

At a function held in the indoor hall of the Nehru stadium on Thursday, former All England champion Pullela Gopi Chand cut a ribbon to usher in the modern Japanese technology to the city, courtesy Sunrise Sports (India) Ltd, which represents Yonex, the official badminton equipment sponsor and development partner of the International Badminton Federation and a series of National bodies including India.

In the city the stringing facility will be available at the `Sports Supplier', a sports goods shop.

Apart from Gopi Chand there were other leading National players, including Aparna Popat at the function.

Also Sunrise Sports India is based in Chennai: http://maps.google.nl/maps/place?hl=...30499732837367
Maybe one of their showrooms has opened there already.

    Hi LD,
Not all the racquets are fake, but a few of them.

Moreover, their pricing is also a bit on higher side, my personal suggestion to you, try this Rohit Sports in Bangalore, you'll be amazed to see their collection and pricing. Imagine getting ATG 900 power for 6500/- with a kit bag.
