Maybe, the CHN team wants them to focus on playing in mixed doubles, since ZYL really bombed out in XD last week on double duty. Same goes to TQ.

Why do Qian Ting/Tao Jiaming stop as XD pair?

As far as I remember, this pair had not good result in World Championship (trashed by Adcock/Bankier, not really so bad, they achieved QF) and in one SS event, if I was not wrong that should be INA SSP, in which they were defeated by Indian pairs.
but, sometimes the players can lost. Are their losings unforgivable?

I am not sure if the reason is because of Qian Ting.
but if the reason is because of Tao Jiaming, why does he still play in XD, he is just paired with new partner in China SSP.

i think this is exactly all about Qian Ting. the last thing CHN wanted is both girls in the XD doubled up in WD for the London OLY as well. too risky.
