Is this enough for a warranty replacement?

So I bought a SOTX D-600 like a month ago from Maxsports and asked them to string it for me at 27lbs. Racket was awesome but after a month string tension became loose and I decided to cut it and restring it at a known local stringer here in Montreal (Lucien Laverdure). I asked them to string it at 28lbs and the racket cracked. The racket never had contact with another one during match as I'm mostly a singles player. Here's what it looks like.

I sent Maxsports these pictures so they can send it to the company. They said SOTX head office is located in China and that they mostly rely on pictures and that I do not need to send in my racket. If the warranty claim gets approved they will send me a new one from their own stock unlike Yonex where you have to send them your broken racket. So far Maxsports has been excellent for their customer service and communication. Now it is up to SOTX to decided whether or not to give me a new racket. Do you think this is good enough for a warranty claim?

Exactly how did it crack? Was that the first cross tensioning? So all the mains were done?

I have no idea but guess what? I just received an email from Maxsports saying SOTX have approved the claim and they're now sending me a new one minus the shipping fees which I have to pay. I sent them the email last thursday ( 4 days including weekend or 2 business days ) for the claim. Talk about fast approval!! Way to go SOTX and also Maxsports for helping me go through this!!

I made this thread for a record in case someone else has to deal with SOTX and need assurance about how SOTX deal with warranties.

    SO HAPPY!! YAY!

That was good of Sotx. Looking at the pictures, it seems like a weird break. Seems like break area was weak.

yup sotx warranty is brilliant the only thing they always require is payment for postage.
unless you smash your racket onto the ground or another racket they almost always replace the racket
