Started back playing the game and went hunting for rackets to replace the ancient aluminium yonex carbonex 8sp i have rotting away.

A friend of mine intro me to Apacs, I was like....HUH?
Don't intro me pasar malam stuff lah

After his speech and some search online, plus Dink's reviews I'm totally crazy about the brand and their stuff.

    These are my babies! :D
Furious 767, Edge Saber 9, Tantrum Light Exclusive.

Hot off the oven, just bought this today while going to get my YC8SP re-string and regripped. Asked the lady if she had Apacs Superlight, she recommended me this Tantrum Light Exclusive. Just what I wanted, a lighter racket for playing in-front during doubles. Slightly shorter than the other two but should be okay since it is more for finesse net-play work.

Yeap, rated to go as high as 35lbs. Using the original string but added a Karakal over grip, I like em fat ;)

The Furious 767, my first Apacs. My goto weapon still.

My Edge Saber 9, although people might say this is for girls I do like the paint job, and being lighter tahn its male variant yet have the same head heavy smash happy feeling, I'm satisfied.

Good collection so far, I've got 5 myself but between me and two friends I play with we have 10 different ones.

Nice nice. I have the APACS Nano Superlight, the Nano 900 Power White and Red, and soon to get a VH1800. Sadly there's a Tantrum 200 hanging on my wall in pieces.

Nice...how are the rackets (TLE in particular...)? I am thinking of getting either that or the Lethal Light Special...but no reviews so far.

haven't tried the TLE but it feels almost like nothing.
i'm guessing since it is shorter than ES9 and F797 i should use it for doubles playing in front, going to test it tomorrow.

just got my YC8SP back today and bought a new PA bag :p

well if i borrow mine to panda mebbe he will quickly do one :p

Oh man...Apacs removed the 767 off their website! Kinda nervous as to why....when I still haven't received mine yet.

It's an older racket, might just be discontinued.

    Hey Xenix

I just got my 767. I got it string by Apacs, but the strings look so messy on the racket...like wavy. Is your's like that as well?

I guess it's due to the zig-zag gromets. The waves just isn't appealing to the eyes @_@

@ameant - nice, though after testing my TLE it feels hard too hard to be played since i got over confident when the aunty recommended to string it to 26lbs. since i am not superman i am pretty much useless using the TLE from back court.

@gee - hmmm i don't recall ever having strings for any of my apacs. the only thing they come with is a hologram booklet and crappy grip. u can re-string it though i dun think just "any" shop will do.

Let xenix have a chance to restring it to a proper playing tension for him.

i wonder if baking it in the car would help :(

TLE would be very dangerous for someone good, for crapster like me it doesn't make much difference.

Defence = Shorter than Furious 767 by a few cm. Good for better control and quick reactions for near body shots. Great for tap ins, drop shots and backhand.

Offense = Horrible for base playing.

Conclusion = A very good counter attacker for the front player in a doubles pair. Shots less powerful and fizzle off faster, though used wisely could be very dangerous; e.g. When my opponent was stretching me from side to side i couldn't react quick enough so just did a backhand near the base, shot had enough power to just cross the net. Might be just a fluke for me but in the hands of someone whom can aim better I think this is a good tactic.
