I've tried all 3 strings but not on the same racket. At 24lb vs850 feels the hardest and 66um feels the softest to me.

Can anyone tell me about this string in terms of feeling-soft, medium, hard?
If it is similar to BG80, it is hard.
If it is similar to NBG 98, it is medium.
If it is similar to BG65, it is soft. I am looking for a soft string.

    it is hard.

the signature property of the string is the feel. it provides very good feedback.

the bad part about the string is that it goes dead after 2 weeks.

I still struggle with the definition of the 'feel' of a string. I don't know how something described as 'hard' feeling like VS850 can have such a soft touch at the net.

ps: It doesnt say anywhere on the packet how hard or otherwise it is.

my definition of feel is less about how hard/soft it is, but the feedback.

one of these days when i get really old, i will go back to bg65. pre-stretch the hell out of it and string it higher so it keeps tension.

How does VS850 compare to BG66UM/BG80? I currently have BG66UM on my MX80s but they lost tension FAST!

I got a couple of VS850s with my MX80s and would like to try these but it's between using these or getting BG80 on my racket.

I haven't tried the BG66UM but I think the 850 is really close to the BG80... BUT you need to do a PRE-Stretch... that way it won't lose the tension as fast as non-pre-streched 850s

The NS880 is a nice string - when it was first strung I wasn't to sure but now I really like it. My other favourite is the VS850!
