VS-850 is a more slippery string than any YY strings! Indeed VS-850 is a very powerful with nice sounds upon impact! But this slippery feeling made me cut off the string and restrung with YY string again! Won't bother to use VS-850 again!

strung my SW35 with VS850@29.5lbs today. wow. quite a different feel. so snappy and responsive, not the dead wood that i expected. control is excellent, feel is excellent as well.
took a little bit of getting used to due to the really harsh impact.
defense was only ok as the speed isn't that fast, but after loosening up even more with more finger power, it end up really quite good. i was able to defense hard smashes just as ease as other strings.
was really focused on drills today so i didn't do any hard smash or clears.
this will probably be my weapon at the tournament this weekend. either this, or the MX80 with VS850@25lbs.

^^ For some reason (and others agree with me) I find blue to play the best of all the colours.

Just strung my cheap racket with this on 25lbs..
it felt so good compared to BG68Ti @ 24lbs ( maybe bcoz of different string tension ), especially for the sound part..
hopefully it will be able to last more than 2 month.. ( BG68Ti only last 1 month and half..

well, it played horribly when i used it in the tournament. but then, i was so stressed out (i was the tournament director) i didn't play a single good game the whole day no matter what racket i switched to.
and the on Thursday i tried it out again it felt good again. seems to be a good combo with SW35, the response is very fast and crisp and repulsion is very good even on medium strength shots like clear.

hmm, to my opinion, bcoz I'm from Indonesia, and many of the 'cheap' brands in Indonesia sometimes used some phrases like " Japan Technology ", " Made in Japan ", etc..
And Victor used that phrases, so kinda made me feel like " u doesn't need to include 'made in japan' in ur string.. just say 'Victor Strings VS-850 Power' is enough to tell everyone what kinds of strings did they use.. "
It's a very good string anyway ( to me ) cheap enough, but has high quality..
*starting to love victor's brand

I have 2x Yellow 2x Blue and 2x Black VS-850 to try on an unstrung ungripped SW35. Also have several RKEP grips. Don't know which colour to use first !

I had created an absolute monster !!!!!
I choose to go for 28lbs VS-850 Black, and I gripped it with RKEP G09L Yellow.
This thing was absolutly unstopable, I actually don't think i have ever hit harder before.
Control was fantastic, everything about it was perfect, I believed I had the perfect setup... And then 1hr in, I heard and felt the sound that a badminton player hates... The string snapped, right in the centre.
now I have a dilemma, I absolutely love this tension and setup, but on the other hand, I can't afford the string to break every 1hr.
