Hi. My father and I were looking at getting my mother one of these cameras for bird photography. The CMOS SX1 is ~$200 more. ($350 vs $520) Would the CMOS sensor be better for low-light, or anything like that? It's also lower megapixels which I suspect is actually a good thing.
